More Organizing

I organized my bathroom cabinet finally.  I also started to clean out my closet but that's not quite finished so I won't post pictures quite yet.  Also I am horrible at remembering to take "before" so I apologize in advance haha.  These before and after pictures may not look like a lot but I threw away a bunch of stuff and condensed things in a more orderly fashion.  I have my "counter space" back too which is lovely.  So here they are:

Organizing the Pantry

I am not the most organized person I know but I would like to become a little better at it.  Organizing keeps my mind less cluttered and it's way easier to find things (who knew??).  So I set off on the task of organizing my pantry which took a lot more work than I thought it would.  I researched many organizing tips, pictures, and blogs to be sure I had everything I needed to prepare myself.  I bought some bins to store things and fabric to cover boxes to make things all coordinated.  And then I began the actual organizing...

DIY Mint and Polka Dot Nails

My first nail tutorial!  I found one similar to this somewhere else and made my own version.  My mom wanted her nails done for her birthday and I thought this would be fun.

New year

Hello there blogosphere and happy new year. I'm having a hard time choosing a New Years resolution just because whenever I say I will lose weight it never happens and in don't think I necessarily need to this year. So I'm trying to think of a better New Years resolution because I just want to be a better person this year. God has given me this year to live and I want to live it with purpose.

Finally Finished

I have finally finished the blanket I've been working on since February. It started as a wedding gift for my sister and her husband and it turned into a Christmas present. It was literally completed on Christmas Day. I feel quite accomplished and relieved now that it's done. Here it is:

Red Jeans

So I just got a pair of red skinny jeans, which are so fun and fashionable for fall, and I'm trying to decide what to wear with them.  I wore a cute chiffon floral top with them today with pops of red in it that ended up looking really cute.  So here are the jeans and some options of what I want to wear with them:

Fall

Huge scarves, tall boots, and cute jackets.  Now I remember why I live in Michigan.

You get to experience all the seasons (like it or not) and with the seasons come the fashion.  Fall clothes are always anticipated after the long summer of tiny shorts and barely there tank tops.  You get to wear your favorite jeans again and pull out those fluffy sweaters and discover things you forgot you had.  So go wash the musty smell out of your fall things, take inventory of your stock, and get inspired by the lovely weather we're having!
